DELE DOUBLE ACT SEALS FIRST WIN

DELE ALLI scored twice as Everton got their first win in pre-season with a 4-2 victory at Blackpool. Manager Frank Lampard warned of another tough season ahead after seeing his side suffer defeats against Arsenal and Minnesota United — when Alli (right) missed a sitter from three yards out. Lampard said: ‘It’s a nice step forward but there is still a lot to do.’ Vitaliy Mykolenko scored the opener on six minutes before Tom Davies added a second. But the Tangerines hit back through Gary Madine before the break. Alli scored his first from close range before former Everton defender Callum Connolly narrowed the gap. But Alli struck again on 63 minutes to seal a much-needed win.
