Parkinson’s visions

THANK you to Kid Jensen (Mail) for highlighting the fact that some people with Parkinson’s disease suffer from hallucinations.

My husband saw soldiers with tanks in the garden, and he used to say he couldn’t get to the bathroom because of the queue.

For me to say there was nothing there or to try to move the ‘people’ along was heartbreaking.

The result was that his medication had to be reduced, which brought about a return of his symptoms.
