is hoping that supporters of the two rival candidates in the Tory leadership contest will put hostilities on hold at the launch party for her new novel, Love At War. ‘I know there’ll be Tory MPs and elder statesmen supporters of both Rishi and Liz present,’ says the model turned author, who is married to former Tory leader Lord Howard.

‘But while they might disagree over tax and policy, I think it very unlikely that anyone will be getting into any heated political debates at what is, after all, a book launch.’
