Jail for transgender man who used sex toy to deceive women
A TRANSGENDER man who wore a sex toy to deceive women into relationships with him was jailed for ten years yesterday.
Tarjit Singh, 32, who was born a woman, met his victims online and insisted on having sex in the dark to keep up his deception, a court heard.
One victim, who only realised the truth months into their relationship, said: ‘He looked like a guy, he acted like a guy.’
Yesterday it emerged that Singh, from Enfield, north London, is currently being held in a women’s prison. Snaresbrook Crown Court was told that he had researched ultra-realistic prosthetic penises online before deciding to buy a sex toy from Ann Summers.
When his victims found out about his deception, he would often fly into a rage and beat them up.
He threatened to set fire to one woman, dosing her with lighter fluid and fracturing her nose with a mobile phone. Singh’s rages left another with bruising and a black eye.
He was jailed yesterday for a total of ten years – with further three years on licence after he has served his term – for a series of sexual and physical assaults targeting two women and a girl aged 16 between 2010 and 2016.
He was convicted of three counts of assault by penetration, six of assault occasioning actual bodily harm and one of making a threat to kill after a trial earlier this year.
