IF YOU’VE watched recent hits The Wilds or Yellowjackets, you’ll know that whenever a young woman gets on a small plane, it’s bound to end in tears. In this six-part drama, a private jet crashes in the middle of the Canadian wilderness, and Liv (Melissa Barrera, from In The Heights) is the lone survivor who must battle both an unforgiving wilderness and past personal traumas to stay alive and find her way back to civilisation.

Liv is an ambitious New York attorney, and her sharp mind has seen her rising to the top in the ruthless world of city lawyers, but now, she’s presented with a very different set of challenges. Barrera (pictured) — who also starred in the latest addition to the Scream horror franchise — has spoken of gruelling 14-hour filming days and being ‘the most scared I’ve ever been’ shooting challenging scenes in an ice-cold lake.
