True workers

MY hUSBAnD never went on strike for better pay and conditions. As a self- employed plumber, he had no time to suffer from stress, even though reluctant payers caused him much aggravation.

In hot weather he was working in an insulated loft and in cold weather in a draughty cow shed. People like him who only get paid when they go to work carry on regardless.
