Tis the season?

IT’S the height of summer, but I’ve already received Christmas catalogues from Gift Discoveries, Coopers of Stortford and Scotts of Stow.

QVC has a one-hour show devoted to Christmas, with the TV studio decked out.

The excuse is some people like to shop early. Christmas is no longer the season of goodwill, but of avarice.
