SARINA WIEGMAN told her players, ‘It’s time to party!’ after England made history yesterday by beating Germany to win the European Championship.

Chloe Kelly scored the winner in extra time to send Wembley — and millions of fans watching on TV across the country — into joyous celebrations as England swept to their first major international win since the 1966 World Cup.

All- conquering manager Wiegman said: ‘I’ve already lost my voice a bit. What we’ve done is really incredible, I don’t think I fully realise what we have done. We’ve had so much support from our fans and I’m so proud of the team.’

England’s victorious players will celebrate with their supporters in Trafalgar Square this lunchtime. The first 7,000 fans who turn up from 11am will have the opportunity to join the squad for a special presentation.
