Barber accused of killing nurse who fell to her death

A BARBER appeared in court yesterday charged with murdering an NHS nurse who plunged to her death.

Leonidas Georgalla, 50, is accused of killing mother-of-two Kathleen John, 39, on Friday morning at a flat near Wembley Stadium in north-west London. Horrified neighbours described seeing paramedics trying to revive Miss John, pictured, who was a staff nurse at the North West London Hospitals Trust.

But a Met Police spokesman said she had ‘fallen from a height’, and had died at the scene. Georgalla, from Harrow, north-west London, was at Willesden Magistrates’ Court yesterday and is set to appear at the Old Bailey tomorrow.
