ANDY GARCIA takes on a role previously filled by Spencer Tracy in 1950 and Steve Martin in 1991 for a polished remake that gives a few tweaks to the story to make it feel fresh. Garcia is the doting father, head of a Cuban-American family, whose relationship with his wife (Gloria Estefan) is heading for divorce — but not before daughter Sofia (Adria Arjona) announces she is getting married in four weeks’ time. Cue an especially stormy month of planning, break-ups and make-ups.
