Be paid to play on your daily commute with games app

-

IF YOU like playing games on your phone when you’re on the bus or train, you could make money, too. A new app called Skedadle ( skedadle. com) will pay you for every 15 minutes you spend playing games through their app. Users can make up to £2 a day just by playing for half an hour. If you do that five times a week, it’s £40 a month. The company makes money from adverts playing in the background and will share some revenue with you. It’s free to sign up and you can download the app direct from Skedadle’s website.

GET 32.5 per cent off cool clothes at preworn.co.uk. Right now they are offering 25 per cent off across the site anyway, but using my code, JASMINE10, you can get 10 per cent off the reduced price, giving you 32.5 per cent off all clothing.

tHIS one is just in London, I’m afraid, but it’s so expensive to live in the capital that it’s always a bonus to find free or very cheap activities. And I’m thrilled to see that families can have a cooling swim for free at the Royal Victoria Dock’s lido until August 28. there’s also a sandpit and lots of other free family entertainment.

then, from August 26 to September 11, there’s the Greenwich and Docklands International Festival with free art, theatre, dance and circus events. Go to festival.org/gdif-2022/
