Never Have I Ever, Netflix

THIS refreshingly comical coming-of-age story is based on creator Mindy Kaling’s childhood experiences and, in a hilariously offbeat touch, is narrated by John McEnroe. It’s about an IndianAmerican student called Devi (Maitreyi Ramakrishnan), who, for a while, loses all sensation in her legs after the sudden death of her father. When she returns to school, she’s determined to end her geeky reputation and become a cool kid. The first series was a huge hit, and the second was deemed better than the first. This is season three.
