Brad Pitt’s ‘Columbine kid jibe’ at own child
Jolie’s ex is accused of shocking comparison during private jet rant
BRAD Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s explosive marriage-ending argument began when he allegedly said one of their children ‘looked like a ****ing Columbine kid’, according to newly released FBI documents.
The actor also accused his ex-wife of ‘ruining the family’ during an allegedly drunken rant which turned into a ‘verbal and physical fight’ onboard their private jet in 2016.
Miss Jolie, 47, asked Pitt what was wrong on the flight from France to Los Angeles as she could tell he ‘was mad’.
According to the documents, he snapped and said: ‘That kid looks like a ****ing Columbine kid.’
His alleged comment appeared to be a reference to the Columbine High School massacre in Colorado in 1999 where students Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold murdered 12 pupils and a teacher.
But it is not clear which of their six children he was referring to.
The Maleficent actress allegedly suffered injuries from a physical altercation with Pitt, 58, and gave an FBI agent ‘ a photo of her elbow in an attempt to corroborate this’.
The pair then went to the back of the plane to argue away from the children, she told the FBI. Pitt is accused of grabbing her ‘ by the head, shaking her, followed by grabbing her at the shoulders and shaking her’ before he punched the ceiling of the plane.
One child is said to have witnessed the confrontation and asked Miss Jolie: ‘Are you OK mummy?’
Pitt then allegedly shouted: ‘No mummy’s not OK. She’s ruining this family. She’s crazy.’ Another one of their children called him a ‘ p****’ and Miss Jolie grabbed Pitt from his neck as it looked ‘like he was going to attack’ them, according to the report.
She said Pitt was behaving like a ‘monster’ throughout the flight and was complaining non-stop and screaming at the children.
The actress listed £21,000 ($25,000) worth of damages in the FBI investigation, mostly from stains on a plane seat after Pitt allegedly spilled red wine.
She also claimed he ‘poured beer on her and the blanket she was under’ with her children and that she suffered injuries to her back, elbow and had a carpet burn on her hand.
Pitt, meanwhile, sustained only a scratch which Miss Jolie acknowledged ‘could have been from her’.
The FBI report of the incident was shared with both parties in 2017. Parts of the document have now been obtained by media outlets.
In the last few days, the actress was identified as the unnamed plaintiff who sued the FBI in April under the name Jane Doe. She had filed a Freedom of Information request for the release of FBI documents relating to the investigation after reportedly complaining about a lack of transparency over why it was closed in November 2016.
Pitt denies all of his ex-wife’s claims and no charges were ever filed against him for the incident.
But Miss Jolie filed for a divorce from Pitt four days after the plane argument, citing irreconcilable differences. The Hollywood stars were together for 12 years after filming Mr & Mrs Smith in 2005.
Since their divorce in 2019, the pair have been embroiled in a custody row over their sons Maddox, 21, Pax, 18, daughters Zahara, 17, and Shiloh, 16, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 14.
