WINKS LINES UP ITALIAN JOB AS SPURS EXIT NEARS

■ TOTTENHAM midfielder Harry Winks (right) is in talks over a loan to Italian side Sampdoria. The 26-year-old had initially been reluctant to go abroad. Winks’s team-mate Sergio Reguilon is wanted by Atletico Madrid, with the Spaniards prepared to rival Fulham and Lazio in the race to sign the left back on loan.

ATLETICO are allowing Brazilian left back Renan Lodi, 24, to leave. He was heading to Nottingham Forest on Friday but talks over a loan move have stalled. Forest have signed forward Hwang Ui-jo from Bordeaux and he has immediatel­y joined Olympiacos on loan.

CELTA VIGO have made an offer of £10million for Blackburn forward and Everton target Ben Brereton Diaz.

WEST HAM are to make a third bid for Club Bruges midfielder Hans Vanaken.

The 30-year-old wants to play in the Premier League and is desperate to link up with David Moyes, with the Scot making it clear that he wants the 6ft 5in Belgian.

CHELSEA defender Trevoh Chalobah, 23, has received loan offers from Italian clubs Inter Milan and AC Milan and also from German side RB Leipzig. He is set to be allowed to leave after Chelsea struck a deal for Leicester’s Wesley Fofana.

The Blues are also close to signing 19-year-old Dynamo Moscow midfielder Arsen Zakharyan for £12m. TOTTENHAM have agreed a £2m deal with Sheffield United for their 17-year-old striker Will Lankshear.

MANCHESTER CITY defender Luke Mbete, 18, is close to joining Huddersfie­ld on loan.

BURNLEY have signed Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper Denis Franchi, 19, on a three-year contract. PSG have rejected a £2.5m bid from Sunderland for midfielder Edouard Michut.

QPR are signing former Rangers defender Leon Balogun, 34, on a free transfer.
