Pogba is a coward, traitor and hypocrite… says his own brother!

- by CRAIG HOPE

PAUL POGBA has been labelled a ‘coward, traitor and hypocrite’ by his own brother after the former Manchester United star made allegations of blackmail against his older sibling. Mathias Pogba, 32, has responded after the Juventus midfielder, 29, told police he was held hostage by two hooded gunmen as part of an £11million extortion plot organised by his brother and childhood friends. The gang, Pogba claims, wanted money for ‘protection services’ dating back 13 years.

But Mathias, a forward once of Wrexham, Crewe and Crawley, has hit back in a lengthy social-media post.

‘My little brother is finally starting to show his true face,’ he wrote. ‘Since it was he who started talking, to lie to the police and who brought out the information, you can’t blame me.

‘Paul, you really wanted to shut me up completely, to lie and send me to prison, I suspected it. Now it’s true, my version of the facts actually happened and, unlike you, I have enough to prove my words and your lies.

‘I’ll tell you again: brother, manipulating people is not good! It’s not about money: you implicated me in spite of myself, I almost died because of you, you left me in a hole and you want to play the innocent one. When everything is said, people will see that there is no bigger coward, bigger traitor and bigger hypocrite than you on this earth.’

One of the threats made by the gang, it is alleged by Pogba, was to reveal that he had asked a witch doctor to cast a spell on his France team-mate Kylian Mbappe.

Pogba denies this, but Mathias wrote: ‘Kylian, now do you understand? I have no negative feeling towards you, my words are for your good, everything is true and proven, the witch doctor is known!

‘Sorry about this brother, a so-called Muslim deep in witchcraft, it’s never good to have a hypocrite and a traitor near you!’

Pogba was always thought to be close to Mathias — they were often pictured together — but French authorities are now investigating the claims he was threatened over a four-month period, including acts of intimidation in Manchester, Paris and Turin.
