Three arrested in connection with gun killing of Olivia, nine
Three men were yesterday arrested in connection with the killing of nineyear-old Olivia Pratt-Korbel in Liverpool in a significant breakthrough.
A 34-year- old man from runcorn, was being questioned by detectives in custody after being held on suspicion of murder and attempted murder, Merseyside Police said.
A further two men, aged 29 and 41, were arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender and are also in custody. Five have so far been held in connection with the case.
The development comes almost two weeks after the child, pictured, was fatally shot in her house in a suspected botched gangland hit. The killer was chasing convicted burglar Joseph Nee when the pair barged their way into Olivia’s home in Dovecot on August 22. Yesterday Detective Chief Superintendent Mark Kameen said: ‘I continue to urge anyone who has information that can help our investigation to please come forward.’ Two men previously arrested on suspicion of murder and two counts of attempted murder in relation to Olivia’s death were released on bail.
