Take on the strikers
THe country has been champing at the bit awaiting the result of the race to win the poisoned chalice of being Prime Minister.
We have endured weeks of questioning concerning issues relating to the economy — which the majority of people do not understand — and other self-regarding needs.
Promises, promises and more promises have been made, but the unenlightened and those with a hidden agenda will exert unreasonable pressures for early results.
They will disregard the reasons for our predicament, which are matters outside our control — the pandemic and the war in Ukraine.
The bottom line is that the country is in a dire financial position that affects every citizen and it will take a long time for the Government to steer us out of our problems, regardless of the methods adopted.
despite being in this position all
together, our problems are likely to be exacerbated by a lack of unity.
How can the increasing number of people engaging in strike action assist our survival? Have the members of unions — many of whom are reasonably paid — not considered the wider implications?
are they so self-absorbed that they are impervious to the plight of others? and where does this place numerous labour MPs who are supporting their paymasters by joining strike pickets?
