Bold action needed

lIZ TrUss has become Prime Minister after a long and totally pointless tussle with rishi sunak.

The contest could and should have been resolved within a couple of weeks. Instead, it took seven long weeks during which the country has been falling apart.

Miss Truss must take bold and instant action to solve inflation, the cost of living and soaring energy bills.

We do not need a blueprint for the future. We need someone willing to create new solutions for today’s problems. Will she be up to it? I’m holding my breath.
