BEWARE fraudsters targeting jobseekers with a new scam on networking website LinkedIn.

Applicants are invited to an interview where they are encouraged to hand over financial information in order to receive their salary. The crooks then use these details to purchase products and equipment, according to fraud prevention firm Cifas.

Report anything suspicious to Action Fraud on 0300 123 2040 or contact your bank immediately if you’re worried you’ve been caught out.
