EPIC ADVENTURES WITH BERTIE GREGORY, DISNEY+

IS BERTIE (pictured) the man to take over from Sir David Attenborough as the world’s favourite natural-world storyteller? The 29-year-old, who studied zoology at the University of Bristol, went on to win a Bafta for his work on Sir David’s 2019 series Seven Worlds, One Planet, as he carved out a name for himself as an up-and-coming wildlife photographer and presenter. In this spectacular five-part series, he crisscrosses the globe to capture awesome animal footage. Amazingly, the nail-biting stories of how Bertie gets to the right places to film his subjects are as gripping as the traditional wildlife stuff. The first of his five adventures follows him to the icy Antarctic, where he hopes to find the biggest gathering of whales ever captured on camera. Then, he’s in Zambia for an encounter with some amazing lions that specialise in hunting buffalo. We also follow Bertie as he goes in search of sharks and dolphin in the Pacific, and majestic eagles in Africa.
