TV adventurer laid low by a scooter on his hols

-

HE HAS walked the length of the Nile and the Himalayas, and been embedded with Iraqi troops fighting ISIS, but Levison Wood has been defeated by a scooter.

I hear the TV adventurer, 40, is recovering after being seriously injured in a road accident overseas.

‘Second time in emergency care this year, and not how I’d expected to end a holiday in Greece,’ the former Army officer laments. ‘Still, it could have been a lot worse, so I’m grateful for that, at least.

‘Fractured tibia and ankle, which required a big operation, so that’ll be my third limb filled with metal. Stay off the scooters on holiday, kids.’

Dashing Wood told me a while back that he was struggling in the daunting world of contemporary dating. He added: ‘I’m looking for a woman with a sense of adventure and a sense of fun — I’m not shallow.’
