BEING able to tell the future has never made life easy for psychic Maggie (Rebecca Rittenhouse, pictured), whose own love life is something of a disaster, but at least her visions have always been limited to other people. Or at least they have been until she meets history teacher Ben (David Del Rio), and suddenly she’s getting glimpses of a joint future for the two of them where it looks like they fall in love and marry. Can she trust what she’s seeing? Are they really destined to be together for ever? That’s the ‘Will they? Won’t they?’ puzzle at the heart of this refreshing 13-part romantic comedy series. The fresh-faced cast carry off the fantastical premise with aplomb, especially Rittenhouse, who has a charming chemistry with Del Rio. Silly and sassy, it’s a delightfully enjoyable watch — though, sadly, it hasn’t been renewed for a second season after it was released this summer in the U.S. All 13 episodes are available to watch on Disney+ from today.
