IT’S 1970s America, and Joyce Prigger (Ophelia Lovibond) is having little luck pitching her idea for a feminist magazine. Eventually, porn publisher Doug Renetti (Jake Johnson) offers to back her — as long as the mag includes naked male centrefolds. It’s not exactly what she had in mind, but Joyce accepts — and soon finds herself at the helm of the first erotic magazine for women. This is a terrific, smart comedy drama that is laugh-out-loud funny. Oh, and it’s also absolutely filthy. You’ve been warned.
