ONe of the remarkable things about the many huge public gatherings to salute the wonderful service of the Queen has been the number of young children eager to take part.

Boys and girls have expressed their admiration for the late monarch with great clarity and feeling.

You expect the older generation to join the many tributes, but how wonderful to see schoolchildren able to express their admiration for the Queen’s devoted service.
