I hAVe great respect for King Charles III, who made a speech on the dangers of plastic waste as far back as 1970.

he pointed out that every bit of plastic ever made is still around somewhere in the environment.

But he was mocked for years for being ‘odd’ because of his concern for the environment.

It was unfashionable in those days — but he was right all along.

he has also done great work for decades to promote the benefits of organic farming.
