Witness to history

AGEd 19, I had the honour and privilege of being part of the guard of honour at the proclamation of accession of Elizabeth II at the Royal Exchange in the City of london in 1952.

As a private with 326 (City of london) battalion, WRAC, we marched from Finsbury Barracks behind the Scots Guards and the Company of Pikemen & Musketeers of the Honourable Artillery Company. Mrs P. M. SAWYER,
