Musical tribute

BBC Radio 2 pulled out all the stops after the announcement of the Queen’s death. They drafted in the grown- up presenters, the music has been perfect and the inane chatter absent, thank goodness.

Ken Bruce, as always, was excellent while Paddy o’Connell and Tony Blackburn were a delight.

I just wish the station would continue to take note of what the listeners really want and stop trying to be Radio 1. JANE O’SuLLIVAN,
