On Tuesday, Eamonn Collins’ record of being the youngest footballer to play a UK league match — set in 1980 as a 14-year-old for Blackpool — was broken by Christopher Atherton, 13, for Northern Irish outfit Glenavon. Then on Saturday his nephew, Nathan, was shown a straight red card as Wolves lost to City.
