Davina: I’m dancing till 2am again

- By Emma Powell Deputy Showbusiness News Editor

ATTEMPTING to wake a child in the morning is an unwanted chore for most parents.

But Davina McCall has adopted her children’s penchant for lengthy lieins – after staying out dancing until the early hours.

The former Big Brother presenter, 54, said ageing has given her a ‘new lease of life’ and that she cares less about what people think of her.

‘There is a weird but wonderful thing that happens with ageing,’ she told Woman And Home. ‘You get a bit like, “All right, let’s go mad”. So many of my friends are going out dancing again... I go out a lot and get home at 2am.

‘I can sleep until 10am because my kids sleep until midday... It’s like being given a new lease of life.’ Miss McCall said the menopause was an ‘amazing rebirth’ and advocates HRT. The Woman And Home November issue is on sale September 29.
