IN REBECCA ENGLISH’S article on September 10 (Mail), it was stated that ‘for the first time in more than 60 years, the country has a new prince and princess of Wales’. in fact, we were without both only from august 31, 1997 to april 9, 2005. although she never used the title because of its popular association with Diana, camilla was princess of Wales from the latter date, when she married charles.
