THOSE planning the events last week could have shown greater consideration for the public.
The scots were given very little time to visit st Giles’ Cathedral because a whole day was wasted taking the Queen’s coffin to Holyrood House. The same thing happened in London when she was taken to Buckingham Palace.
These occasions were apparently for staff to pay their last respects. Could they not have gone to st Giles’ and westminster Hall privately, before the public were allowed in?
