■ HOME Secretary Suella Braverman was brave and right to call the arrival of tens of thousands of illegal immigrants an ‘invasion’. Imagine how the Leftie hug-a-migrant folk of Islington would feel if that number arrived in their area?

■ THERE is a possible solution to overcrowding in migrant holding centres. We built seven Nightingale hospitals during Covid, why can’t that same speed and expertise be used to build safe detention centres instead of farming people out across the country?

■ ONE reason a majority of people are outraged by the arrival of boat migrants is that they get housed in three-star hotels at a cost of £6million a day while one million Brits who’ve paid their dues are still on housing waiting lists.
