The smart set’s talking about... Winter wedding for Sienna Miller’s big sis
NO ONE will squeal with the girlish excitement of Savannah Miller as Christmas approaches. The fashion designer — older sister of actress Sienna Miller — is, she says, ‘ full on’ for a ‘ Christmas- themed’ December wedding.
‘ I can’t wait,’ adds Savannah, 43, though declining to say whether it will be at her fiance Jim Whewell’s 1,000-acre family estate, Wyresdale Park in Lancashire, or at her place in the Cotswolds.
The couple shouldn’t struggle to find bridesmaids or pages. Aside from Savannah’s own offspring — Moses, Lyra and Bali — by her first husband, they can call on her niece, Marlowe, Sienna’s daughter by ex-fiance Tom Sturridge.
It’s a first marriage for Whewell, 41, but he can turn to his sister Sarah, who has two children with Anselm Guise, only son of baronet Sir Christopher Guise.
And surely a role can be found for Anselm’s sister Ruth — Savannah’s best friend — who now steps out with . . . Savannah’s ex-husband, Nick Skinner.
