PREPARE YOUR MOWER FOR THE WINTER

LAWNMOWERS will be put to rest for the coming months. This is a good time to clean yours down and make sure it stays in good working order ready for next spring. Petrol-driven mowers should not be left with petrol in their tanks. Because it contains ethanol, modern car petrol becomes stale during winter. That causes starting difficulties when your mower has been idle for months. Invest in a can of special 4 stroke or 2 stroke engine petrol. Fuels such as Stihl Moto 4 Plus or Aspen 2 or 4 do not contain ethanol. Those will stay fresh in your tank all winter.
