I WAS given this as a present and finished it last week. It’s an extraordinary book by Baftawinning script writer Abi Morgan. Her world turns upside down after her partner collapses and no longer recognises her when he regains consciousness. And just as she is coming to terms with this, she develops breast cancer. It’s strangely uplifting and life-affirming. It’s billed as a love story and this is exactly what it is.
