I’m fed up with technology; Yes, right to my back teeth! Just shove it in its coffin and Stick on the top a wreath. Make sure it knows who

killed it.

For a hero I would be For all the old age

pensioners

Who tear their hair, like me. Except, of course, the

bald ones.

I wonder what they’d do When all your work’s

deleted,

And you know it wasn’t you. What’s wrong with good

old paper?

Do you shout out, ‘Save

the trees!’

I’m sure that a few hundred Would lay down their lives

to please.

Well, maybe not a

good idea.

But I reuse my sheets And print upon the

other side,

Or vent my ire in tweets. You wonder why this

grand tirade?

Well, I have just

been hacked!

They took away

important things

I had, alas, not backed. And lost me all of

one weekend.

And time is precious now, I could have done

without it,

But I sorted it somehow. I know the world’s a

better place

When everything

goes right.

But when you lose the

blooming thing,

It’s like an uphill fight.
