Time to brush up
I READ with astonishment the article ( Mail) ‘ Our Children’s Teeth Left To Rot In Dental Crisis’.
Why can’t people take responsibility for their children’s teeth, rather than rely on schools or expect government to bring the dental service back from the brink?
I have two children in their 40s and neither has any fillings, mainly because I brushed their teeth until they were old enough to realise how important it was.
My three grandsons also have perfect teeth, thanks to their parents, who also took the time and trouble.
Everyone these days blames someone else. Children’s toothbrushes and toothpaste are not expensive (£1 each) and they last for months. ANNE DONOGHUE,
