Hollywood star Beatty ‘groomed a girl of 14’
HOLLYWOOD star Warren Beatty is being sued by a woman who claims he groomed her for sex when she was 14.
Beatty, 85, is accused of ‘exploiting’ Kristina hirsch, 63, after they met while he was filming a movie in 1973 – with the abuse continuing until later that year, it is alleged.
Miss hirsch had been taken to the movie set in Los Angeles by her neighbour, who was working there, and claims Beatty – who was 35 at the time – repeatedly paid ‘undue attention’ to her.

asking her to call him when she was close to his hotel. It goes on to state that over the course of 1973, when Miss hirsch was 14 and 15, Beatty used his ‘position and status as a hollywood movie star’ to coerce her into having sex with him.
Representatives for Beatty refused to comment when approached by the Mail.
Court documents filed at Los Angeles Superior Court do not directly name Beatty but make several clear references to him. the actor is described in the lawsuit as ‘portraying Clyde in Bonnie and Clyde, a major box-office success that earned (the) defendant an Academy Award nomination for Best Actor’.
he is accused of summoning Miss hirsch to his hotel, offering to help with her homework and speaking to her about losing her virginity. the court documents said: ‘he used his role, status, and power as a wellknown hollywood star to gain access to, groom, manipulate, exploit, and coerce sexual contact from her over the course of several months in the state of California.’
the lawsuit argues that Miss hirsch was unable to give consent because she was a minor at the time, and she is now seeking damages.
At the height of his fame, Beatty bragged about bedding thousands of women, and his biographer Peter Biskind estimated in 2010 that the actor had slept with 12,775 – something Beatty later denied.
he has been married to actress Annette Bening, 64, for 20 years, and the couple have four children.
