Vitamins and vegans
JULIE COOK’S article about the importance of vitamin B12 (Good Health) was an eyeopener. How worrying that vegan and vegetarian diets can cause such damage. I
worry when parents choose this type of diet for babies and young children, though what adults decide is their choice.
We are physiologically designed to eat a mixed diet. Surely it cannot be healthy if you need to take B12 for your body to work properly.
I wonder how many parents have done their research, and what damage is being done by those inspired by ideology.
