Treat yourself to a candlelit concert... at a cut-down price

-

I’VE just found this site, feverup.com/en, which I think is rather handy as it has loads of entertaining things to do, watch, eat or join in with in your area, mostly at quite a discount. For example, right now there are cinema tickets for £3.99 (even in London), although they tend to be for cinemas just outside the centre of town.

There are also offers for candlelit concerts, axethrowing events (!), brunches, comedy and lots more. Just put in your nearest city and see what’s on offer in your area.

■ A HANDY new app called Bargainhunter uploads 100 offers every day. Users can also upload any they spot. It’s free to download and covers clothes to toys to homeware and more with savings of up to 70 per cent.

■ THANK you to a number of you lovely readers who emailed

me to correct the figure I put for the cost of running a fridge/ freezer. I used the monthly fig - ure (£17.10) when I should have used the weekly figure of £3.95.
