SPOTTING a gap in the market for more eco-conscious shopping without the usual exorbitant price tags, Natalie Glaze decided to launch a sustainable jewellery brand, ByGlaze. She specialises in minimalistic pieces inspired by nature with a particular focus on the ocean. Her designs are sustainably and ethically produced using recycled sterling silver and responsibly sourced 18k gold plating.
ByGlaze has partnered with
female makers in Thailand, Kenya and the UK and teaches metalwork through women-run cooperatives to give artisans financial freedom and improved skills. To offset carbon emissions, one tree is planted for every order received. Prices start at £20 for an ear cuff. ALEXANDRIA DALE
