BORN in Madrid in 2004, Garnacho was part of the Getafe youth set-up before moving to Atletico Madrid in 2015.

IN OCTOBER 2020 Manchester United paid around £400,000 for the winger, fighting off Real Madrid for his signature. He signed professional terms with United in July 2021.

MADE his first-team debut in April as a 91st-minute substitute against Chelsea. Named the club’s young player of the year at the end of last season.

SCORED his first senior goal for the club against Real Sociedad in the Europa League earlier this month, having made his first senior start against Moldova’s FC Sheriff in October.

BECAME the youngest player to score a 90thminute winner in the PL since Federico Macheda for United in April 2009.
