Oh boy... George reveals the truth about hair transplant
HIS long tresses were part of the eye-catching look that helped propel Boy George to fame in the Eighties.
But the Culture Club singer, 61, has revealed that his current style is thanks to a hair transplant he had after being inspired by footballer Wayne Rooney.
Complimented on his hair by footballer Jill Scott, he confessed to campmates: ‘Well, mine’s a transplant. I was bald. Do you know what made me do it? Wayne Rooney. I saw Wayne Rooney’s hair and I thought “I can actually get my hair long”.’
Former England star Rooney, 37, has spent around £30,000 on transplants since he was 25.
