JAMIE LAING (pictured) ate a lot of sausages when he was growing up; the Made In Chelsea alumnus went to a boarding school where meals were mighty dull. It was a different matter at home, though, as his mother was a skilled and enthusiastic cook. Every time Jamie came back from school, she’d serve up something special — including her young son’s all-time favourite, Thai chicken noodle soup. As he tells Andi Oliver as they tuck in, it is quick to make and always comforting. The psychologist Kimberley Wilson is also on hand to find out if there’s any scientific evidence for chicken soup being not just a comfort food, but an actual cure for colds.
