Brave Barclay

I WOULD like to nominate Health Secretary Steve Barclay for a knighthood after he had the courage to tell the PM he wouldn’t be asking for an increase in the nHS budget to cope with inflation next year, as he will make savings and efficiencies.

It’s nice to know that at least one of Rishi Sunak’s team is determined to make their department economise and live within its means.
