Doomsday bandwagon

I WAS shocked to discover that the campaign For nuclear Disarmament backs Just Stop Oil and Extinction Rebellion, although the aims of the latter groups have nothing to do with nuclear weaponry.

Amnesty International, of which I was once a branch secretary, does, too, via the absurd mental gymnastics that climate change affects human rights.

Has everyone liberal or Left-wing taken leave of their senses, to throw in their lot with the counter-productive Doomsday-cult wing of environmentalism that drives the likes of Sir David Attenborough to despair?
