THIS mix of drama and piercing black comedy is back for its final run, and resolves the series two cliffhanger that found Jen and Judy (Christina Applegate and Linda Cardellini) in mortal peril. Very finely acted by the two leads, the show is the story of two very different women who are brought together by grief, and then forge a new life together — which is dogged by secrets.
