Contrast that with zero deaths in building all stadiums for the London 2012 olympics.

This was thanks to often-criticised health and safety legislatio­n. Based on deaths before the Health and Safety At Work Act of 1974, the lives of about a thousand workers are saved each year — that’s nearly 50,000 lives.
