Level up tax

CoUNCIL tax bands in England are still based on property values from April 1991, more than 30 years ago.

The last revaluation in Wales, though, was in 2003. Is this fair? I wish my council tax was based on 1991 home values!

Perhaps the Chancellor should reassess English council tax to 2003 property values. What an outcry there would be in England — though we are supposed to be ‘levelling up’ and ‘in it together’.
