GB and Ireland submit Euro bid

The British and Irish Fas yesterday submitted their bid to host euro 2028, with 14 venues lined up to host matches across the five nations. nine are in england, including Wembley, the London Stadium and everton’s new ground at Bramley-Moore dock, which is scheduled to open in 2024. The other host venues on the bid are the aviva Stadium and Croke Park in Dublin, Cardiff’s Principality Stadium and hampden Park in Scotland. They face competition to host the tournament from Turkey. a decision is expected to be made by UeFa’s executive committee next September.
